Athena Robbins founded Carmines Robbins & Company, PLC in 1994 with Robert Carmines. As Partner, Athena specializes in assisting small businesses and non-profit organizations with all aspects of accounting and tax—so her clients can focus on growing their business and net worth. Prior to founding the firm, Athena spent three years with Goodman & Company, and four years with Malvin, Riggins & Company. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in Accounting, from Old Dominion University, graduating with magna cum laude honors. Committed to her community, Athena is former President of the Thomas Nelson Community College Educational Foundation, on the Executive Committee of the Peninsula Salvation Army, former Board Member of the Smithfield Galaxy Fastpitch Association, Treasurer of Riverview United Methodist, and a member of the Newport News Rotary Club. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, relaxing on the beach, reading, horseback riding, and spending time with her family.
